The Patient Quality Specialist will:
Coordinates clinical data collection and submission (Perinatal Risk Assessments, Quality Improvement Programs), working collaboratively with the providers, nurses, and other staff in the Department of Ob/Gyn. Assists in closing gaps. Provides education and support to clinical staff ensuring compliance of quality initiatives. Provides support to registration and scheduling, financial counselor and patient navigator when necessary.

Requirements:
• Medical terminology and data entry experience.
• Knowledge of standard precautions, body mechanics, and patient care procedures acquired through completion of a Medical Assistant certificate program.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a physician office setting.
• Strong MS Office Suite skills Critical thinker with excellent communication and strong organizational, team building, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail and work calmly under pressure.

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
