The Geriatrician Physician will:
We are seeking a Geriatrician to join one of our adult primary care practices in office, nursing home and sub-acute setting.

Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter's brings the latest medical practices and highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We employ more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. We treat more than 23,000 inpatients and more than 245,000 outpatients yearly.
Saint Peter's University Hospital's integrated geriatric medicine program specializes in diagnosis, treatment and the maintenance of good health for older adults. Our interdisciplinary team of board-certified physicians and health care professionals, all of whom are trained in geriatrics, works with patients and their families to develop a comprehensive plan of care for improved overall quality of life.
Geriatric Medicine at Saint Peter's offers:
• Pain management
• Minimally invasive surgery
• Diabetes, mental health, and nutrition management
• Orthopedic services, including hip resurfacing and knee replacement
• Wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for non-healing chronic wounds
• Geriatric Evaluation and Management Services (GEMS) for assessment and care plan development for patients who suffer from Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Opportunity Highlights• Full-time opportunity, Mon-Fri
• Call Schedule - full week at a time, every 4-5 weeks
• Outpatient services and visiting patients in local long-term care and sub-acute services.

Requirements:
• Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited residency and/or fellowship.
• MD or DO licensed in the State of New Jersey
• Board-Certified or eligible in Geriatric Medicine
• CDS and DEA license required
• Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
Full-time clinical base compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from 125,000.00 - 750,000.00 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
