SECRETARY NSG UNIT-SCHEDULER
Endoscopy

The SECRETARY NSG UNIT-SCHEDULER will:

  • Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager, provide assistance to our customers, the Physicians and their office personnel with their requests and meets their needs.
  • Organize the Endoscopy Dept electronic procedural schedule and contacts our patients to inform them of information regarding their procedure.
  • Coordinate the clerical functions which support a patient care unit. Is responsible for data entry on assigned shift.
  • Maintain organization within Nurse's station to promote an orderly work flow.


Requirements:

  • One (1) year scheduler experience preferred.
  • Work requires the ability to read and transcribe Physician orders.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills essential.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse group of Hospital personnel, patients and visitors.
  • Good communication/phone skills required.


We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
