We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to establish and lead the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to build a program from the ground up within a well-resourced, state-designated acute care children's hospital serving one of New Jersey's most diverse communities.

The Division of Pediatric Rheumatologywill provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders in children from infancy through young adulthood. As the sole Pediatric Rheumatologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the program, building referral relationships across the system, and expanding access to this critically underserved specialty in Central New Jersey.

• Program Leadership: Founding opportunity to establish and grow the Division of Pediatric • Rheumatology - define clinical protocols, build the team, and shape the program's future
• Scope of Practice: Full spectrum of pediatric autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), juvenile dermatomyositis, vasculitis, Kawasaki disease, periodic fever syndromes, and autoinflammatory diseases
• Collaborative Care: Multidisciplinary partnership with pediatric nephrology, ophthalmology (uveitis monitoring), dermatology, orthopedics, physical therapy, and occupational therapy

Requirements:
• A Medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA residency and Fellowship
• MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
• Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board
• CDS and DEA license required
• Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from 175,000.00 - 750,000.00 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
