Radiology Diagnostic
The Image Processing Assistant will:
- Receive patients, and their families and directing them to the appropriate areas
- Process all radiology imaging requests
- Answer phones
- As needed, act as a back up to the Radiology Scheduling Staff, schedules routine appointments and explains any necessary preparations with complete accuracy
Requirements:
- Requires HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Solid administrative skills to compose short correspondence and memos.
- Superior communication skills to interact with our patients as well as internal and external customers.
- Must be computer literate, possess the ability to adapt to new systems and master them upon training.
- Intermediate technical skills necessary as well as the ability to communicate technical information to individuals or in a small group setting.
- Problem solving and analytical skills required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
