The Cancer Registry Clerk Part Time will:

Responsible for case finding, adding new "suspense" cases into the Cancer Registry database, and follow-up of all reportable tumors in accordance with the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and the New Jersey State Department of Health requirements. Prepares and maintains CME documentation as outlined by accredited medical education providers. Assists the Cancer Registry Supervisor with data entry and file uploads to the CoC and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). . Performs related clerical duties including opening mail, computer searches, photocopying, etc.

• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Should have a basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, cancer diagnosis, and treatment modalities.
• Must demonstrate computer skills, including personal computers, related software, and the internet.
• Work is generally sedentary but may require standing and walking approximately 15% of work time.

Requirements:

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
