Registered Nurse Per Diem

The Registered Nurse Per Diem will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• The following are required, and can be obtained during clinical orientation, dependent upon the unit you will work on:
  • Med-Surg: ECG course obtained during clinical orientation
  • ICU/CPCU/Cath Lab: ACLS, ECG and Critical Care obtained during clinical orientation
  • Pre-Op: ACLS, PALS obtained during clinical orientation
  • ED/Peds ED/PICU/PACU: ACLS, PALS, ECG course, Critical Care Course obtained during clinical orientation
  • Endoscopy: ACLS, ECG course obtained during clinical orientation
  • Same Day Stay: ACLSP, ALS obtained during clinical orientation
  • NICU/Mother Baby: NRP required
  • Peds: PALS obtained during clinical orientation
  • L&D/ PET/High Risk Antepartum/Birth Center: ACLS, NRP required
