Lead Environmental Services Aide

Saint Peter's Department of Housekeeping is seeking an experienced Lead Environmental Services Aide to join the team!

• Receives cleaning assignments, supplies, and equipment for workday at the beginning of the shift. Performs a final check and cleans up at the end of the shift.
• Performs daily tasks to maintain a germ-free, clean and orderly area.
• Labor & Delivery and Operating Room Daily Tasks.
• Performs hard surface floor care/carpet duties as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Performs daily collection, storage and disposal of various wastes generated within the 4H areas.
• Responds to emergencies which may arise that require the involvement of Environmental Service personnel.
• Develops technical and operational knowledge and skills.
• Maintains all equipment in proper condition.
•Evaluates all completed projects.
Requirements
•Familiarity with housekeeping methods techniques and procedures is essential.
•Previous cleaning experience is essential.
•Ability to utilize all housekeeping equipment, such as brooms, mops, buffers, extractors, vacuum
machines, scouring pads, dust rags, etc.
•Ability to generate routine reports and maintain assigned Departmental records

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift - 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, every other weekend, every other holiday
