Lead CT Technologist
CT Unit
The Lead CT Technologist will:
Supervises the CT Technologist staff and manages day-to-day operations. Performs computed tomography examinations in a manner that would be recognized as ethical and professional. Assists in all aspects of the operation of the CT Department. Within limits of licensure and training, assists radiologist and/or radiology resident during interventional CT. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care as appropriate to the ages of the patients' growth and development through the life cycle factors (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics).
Requirements:
Specifications
• Requires a current New Jersey license to practice Radiologic Technology.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Staff Technologist.
• Requires working knowledge of the CT and computer technology normally found within the Cat Scan Department.
• Possesses the sensitivity and skills to efficiently interact with patients, Physicians, Hospital employees, and students.
• Possesses good reading and deductive skills in order to ascertain Physicians' requests and solve problems.
• Possesses the ability to think and move quickly in order to deliver quality and efficient patient care.
Certifications
• BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
Candidates with previous supervisory experience preferred.
