The Labor and Productivity Management Engineer will:
  • Supports performance management and improvement services for Saint Peter's Healthcare System.
  • Acts as a management resource for companywide standardization for routine labor and expense management practices and other operational/financial improvement initiatives.
  • Uses analytical ability to compile data, analyze and coordinate the system wide benchmarking processes.
  • Supports Senior Operational leadership with focused analyses or improvement efforts. Identifies productivity and expense saving opportunities and recommends solutions to departmental & executive leadership.
  • Works with all levels of the organization to explain analytics and productivity results.


Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; Industrial Engineering or quantitative field of study preferred. Master's degree (MBA, MHA or another quantitative field) preferred.
• 5+ years of hospital operations and/or hospital financial experience required. 2 years of leadership / supervisory experience preferred.
• Possesses strong communication skills and able to work effectively with all staff levels. Flexibility to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Possesses strong numerical analytic skills with high proficiency in Excel. Ability to interpret and summarize complex data sets and reports.
• Exhibit willingness to learn new software / systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills

Schedule: Full Time, onsite - first 90 days, then hybrid schedule with ability to be onsite for scheduled meetings
