The Healthcare Strategic Programs Manager will:

This position plays a critical role in the evolution of the Enterprise Program Management Office of Saint Peter's Health System. Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic business programs. Providing operational guidance including planning, executing, and monitoring projects, budgets, timelines, and outcomes. The ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization; have excellent problem solving and communication skills. Works closely with Senior Management and key stakeholders within the Healthcare System.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provides guidance and implements the framework for effective project delivery and governance, including relevant processes, policies, and tools.
- Identifies and scopes opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, improve quality, and implement scalable solutions.
- Educates employees and leads the roll-out of the project management methodology and promotes adoption across the organization, ensuring standardization and best practices are implemented.
- Drives adoption of project management software, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide real time visibility into project status, risks, and financial benefits.
- In conjunction with the Program Sponsor leads develop work plan initiatives.
- Provides guidance on the management of the projects towards its objectives and milestones.
- Develops relationships with key stakeholders to ensure programs are on track with their work, ensuring to escalate risks and issues through the appropriate channels and coordinating intersecting work streams across project teams.
- Manages the development of work stream team members and creates and sustains an environment that fosters team member engagement.
- Establishes clear objectives tied to workplan goals.
- Provides management of the Enterprise Program Management Office's relationship with the communications team. Assists to develop material to be disseminated to all employees regarding the work on the Performance Excellence teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree is a plus. PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years in project management, with at least 2 years of experience in a mentor or leadership role.

Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Exceptional analytical skills.

Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities, with an eye for detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Strong strategic planning skills.

Self-starter, intellectually curious, independent across competing priorities.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Day shift. In-Person/Hybrid
