Cardiac Diagnostic Technician
Cardio Lab
The Cardiac Diagnostic Technician will:
Responsible for preparing patients and assisting in the performance of Cardiac Diagnostic Studies, Stress Tests, holter monitors, pacemaker, transtelephonic checks, etc.
Requirements:
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant program or six (6) months related on-the-job training preferred.
• Knowledge of Cardiac Diagnostic equipment, techniques and procedures required to perform or assist in the performance of clinical tests and procedures; maintain equipment and records, etc.
• Work requires a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, deal effectively with medical, nursing, technical and other staff.
• BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
