The Biller Customer Service Representative will:
Responsible for answering the Saint Peter's University Hospital phone line. Assist patients with billing questions as well as take patient payments. Take insurance phone calls that come in through the phone line and assist when possible or route to proper delegate in other departments within the system as well as other affiliated institutions. Some collection and accounts receivable work required.

Requirements:
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
• One (1) or more years experience as a Medical Insurance Biller or related responsibilities. Hospital billing strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to lead or assist others and work effectively with all Resource Services, Patient Accounts and other facility staff as well as other internally and externally related groups/vendors.
• Knowledge of Collection, A/R follow-up and billing. Knowledge of third-party payers, State and Federal Agencies (constantly changing) with regards to hospital billing and collection is helpful.
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
