Audiology Services
The Audiologist will:
- Selecting, fitting, and dispensing of hearing aids and other hearing assistive devices.
- Providing care to patients of all age groups from pediatrics up to and including geriatrics.
- Communicate and work closely with Medical Staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in clinical education programs and departmental program development in assigned areas.
- Practice in accordance with professional code of ethics and New Jersey State Practice Act.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree or Doctorate Degree, graduate of an entry level master's or doctorate program in Audiology from a college or university accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology (CAA).
- Requires a current New Jersey State license and registration in Audiology or eligibility.
- * 2+ years of experience strongly preferred
- * Ability to complete Vestibular Nystagmography testing and Auditory Brainstem Response testing strongly preferred
- Requires analytic ability, use of independent judgment and sufficient interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with patients, families, students, peers and other health care professionals.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) is preferred but not required
