Receptionist Registrar

The Receptionist Registrar will:
  • Schedule appointments and/or procedures
  • Greet and register patients
  • Screen incoming calls and determining urgency and how to direct
  • Maintain files


Requirements:
  • Requires excellent communication skills for the effective and courteous interaction with a diverse group of patients, hospital personnel, physicians and their staff, outside offices, etc. Bilingual ability preferred.
  • Requires good office and organizational skills. 2-3 years' experience in an office and patient/customer environment.
  • Computer expertise with knowledge of word processing and database software.
  • Skills with Microsoft Word and Excel of particular importance.
  • Requires the ability to project a positive image through interactions with patients and their families, outside institutions, physicians and other Hospital departments and staff.
  • Requires attention to detail and computer accuracy as pertains to data entry and patient scheduling.
