We are seeking an Endocrinology Physician to join our team in Piscataway.

Overview
Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter's brings the latest medical practices and highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We employ more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. Saint Peter's physicians offer customized treatment for individuals with diabetes in collaboration with certified diabetes educators in the area of nursing, nutrition and clinical social work. In addition, Saint Peter's Thyroid and Diabetes Center has earned American Diabetes Association (ADA) recognition for diabetes education.

What We Offer:

Opportunity: Full Time position, seeing patients Monday-Friday, with 1:4 call coverage (nights), and $3000 CME allowance with paid time off.

Customized Treatment: Our physicians offer customized treatment for individuals with diabetes, dysmetabolic disorders, thyroid conditions, and bone health.

Balanced Workload: A typical day includes seeing 16 -20 patients with a mix of new and established patients.

Requirements:
  • License or eligible for MD or DO licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
  • Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board.
  • Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited residency and/or fellowship.

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, Full Time, No weekends
  • On-call schedule: 1:4 nights and a week at a time
  • Seeing 16 to 20 pts a day
