The Respiratory Care Assistant Per Diem will:
Requirements:
• Good communication skills. Ability to interact with various levels, including physicians, nursing, co-workers, etc.
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous demands
• Teamwork focused
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.

Respiratory Therapy
The Respiratory Care Assistant Per Diem will:
- Serve as support personnel for respiratory care practitioners.
- The Respiratory Therapist Assistant is responsible for performing multiple duties in the assembly, transport, and disinfection of respiratory related equipment and medical supplies.
- The Respiratory Therapy Assistant works under the direction of a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- The Respiratory Therapy Assistant is responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of equipment and medical supplies in the various respiratory work areas and assisting the Respiratory Therapists with various non-patient procedures and tasks, as directed.
- The position may assist in training new Respiratory Therapy Assistants or Student Respiratory Therapists on routine therapy assistant functions.
