The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its Pediatric Emergency Department.

Saint Peter's is bringing the Pediatric Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the department. We are recruiting multiple physicians to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed Pediatric Emergency Medicine group.

Pediatric Emergency Department Opportunity Highlights

  • Over 25,000 annual pediatric ED visits - (patients under 18)
  • Dedicated pediatric emergency services

  • Schedule: 9-10 hr shifts, 120 hrs/month

Physician Requirements

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • PEM Fellows graduating in 2026 encouraged to apply
  • MD/DO licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Current CDS and DEA required

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from 288,000.00 - 350,000.00 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
