The Interventional Radiology Nurse PT will:

In accordance with professional nursing standards, skillfully oversees and administers total patient care based on individualized need of assigned patients in the Radiology department. Assists in facilitating continuity of care of all patients while in the department by responding to patients needs and to reported changes in status. Intervenes as necessary, utilizing appropriate nursing judgment and under physician direction as indicated. Responds to emergencies in department (e.g., allergic contrast agent reactions, vaso-vagal episodes, etc.). Provides follow-up nursing care and evaluation of patients on units after radiology interventions. Demonstrates working knowledge of cardiac and multisystem diseases with critical care knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care and intervention per individual patient acuity level. In addition, demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in specialty preferred
  • BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
  • ECG course completed during clinical orientation
  • Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation
  • Procedural Sedation obtained during clinical orientation


PT days

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
