The Intake Assistant will:

  • Be responsible for receiving and triaging referrals from various agencies including DCP&P, the prosecutor's offices/law enforcement, schools, emergency rooms and community providers.
  • Collect all demographic information for the referred and confirms reason for the referral. •
  • Gather payment approval, clinical, investigative and other needed documentation and preps chart for CPC clinician.
  • Consult with CPC RN staff for second level triage when needed.
  • Schedule appropriate level of evaluation as per CPC scope of services.
  • Confirm appointments with all involved parties thru reminder calls and appointment letters.
  • Be responsible for the rescheduling appointments as needed.
  • Maintain an electronic call log to track and discern incoming call type on an ongoing basis.
  • Meet with manager on monthly basis to review intake activity and trends of referrals. •
  • Assist with front office duties, patient registration and clerical coverage as needed.


Requirements:

  • HS or equivalent required. Some college strongly preferred.
  • Medical terminology and data entry experience required.
  • Experience in an office environment and working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills required


We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
