Antenatal Testing Unit
The Patient Service Representative will:
- Greet and assist visitors and patients in a courteous and professional
manner. - Register patients for medical visits and procedures by collecting personal
and insurance information. - Verify insurance coverage, collect copays and obtain necessary
authorizations. - Schedule and manage patient appointments and follow-ups.
- Manage accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance
information. - Coordinate communication between patients, providers and medical staff.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform clerical tasks in support of the department.
- Consistently contribute a positive attitude when interacting with patients
and other hospital staff, while displaying willingness to learn new skills.
Requirements:
- One (1) to two (2) years of related experience in the healthcare field.
- Good office and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
