The Nurse Manager will:
- Assess, plan and evaluate patient care on a 24-hour basis for a specific service line/unit or units.
- Will have authority and responsibility for implementing hospital unit standards, policies, and procedures.
- Will be accountable for quality and safety, service excellence, staff performance/employee satisfaction and budgetary responsibility within their scope of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's preferred
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive leadership in an acute care setting
- High level of interpersonal skills to resolve complex problems requiring innovative solutions and the ability to negotiate in sensitive situations
- BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
- National certification or nursing administrative certification within one year in specialty specific to care provided
- PALS, ACLS as required by specialty.
