The Nurse Manager will:

  • Assess, plan and evaluate patient care on a 24-hour basis for a specific service line/unit or units.
  • Will have authority and responsibility for implementing hospital unit standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Will be accountable for quality and safety, service excellence, staff performance/employee satisfaction and budgetary responsibility within their scope of responsibility.


Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's preferred
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive leadership in an acute care setting
  • High level of interpersonal skills to resolve complex problems requiring innovative solutions and the ability to negotiate in sensitive situations
  • BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
  • National certification or nursing administrative certification within one year in specialty specific to care provided
  • PALS, ACLS as required by specialty.


We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
