The Leave Administrator will:

  • Oversee and administer leave requests requiring specialized attention, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and salary continuance or long-term disability plans.
  • Communicate with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or modified work schedules. Ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for and to take leave. Stay in contact with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work.
  • Handle the leave administration process from the employee's initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work.
  • Coordinate benefit billing for employees on leave.
  • Act as primary point of contact for employees on leave.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practice.
  • Preserve confidentiality of employees' medical documentation and files.
  • Keep current with all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or 2-3 years of Leave Administration experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, employment, benefit programs, including flexible benefit programs, financial analysis, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced proficiency with Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required.


We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
